I have been taking acting lessons with Ashley for some time now and I can truly say that he is a gem of a teacher! He is a very talented artist who has an in-depth knowledge of his craft and delivers this knowledge in a very engaging way. He has a way to bring life to the story, the character and the performance of his actors. He is top notch! Ashley pushes you to do your best work, all with kindness and tremendous sensitivity, providing a safe place for his students to explore and grow. Ashley was brilliant. He helped my son prepare a monologue for an audition for a performing arts secondary school, through a mixture of online and in person sessions. His sessions were well thought-through and fun and my son responded well to him. His methods were very effective and the overall transformation in my son's performance was amazing. (And he got in). Ashley introduced me to a new way of looking at texts that I hadn't seen before and that I now use all the time in my work. I worked with Ashley for three months to do audition preparation and he was fantastic! I was applying to drama schools for sixth form and he helped me find monologues that would be appropriate. As well, he very thoroughly went through them with me and introduced me to new techniques so that when the auditions came up, I felt very confident and prepared. Ashley is truly amazing. I started lessons with him to get acting knowledge, skills and techniques. Before that, I had lessons in an acting group that I didn't enjoy. Really good experience working with Ashley so far. He's always is able to give a very structured approach to learning topics that can seem hard to penetrate at the beginning. The structure and detailed insights he is able to bring to every session ensures that you can always see how what you're learning relates to your goals.

Ashley is an amazing acting tutor! Rather than just teaching me what I need to pass an exam , he shows me much more interesting things about drama. 10 /10 would recommend, no matter how good you are, you will always learn something new.
